&lt;p&gt;If you haven&amp;#39;t placed and art line before, how would you know?&amp;nbsp; Placing an art line is a real skill; if it was (and we&amp;#39;ll never know) well done!!&amp;nbsp; There&amp;#39;s enough collateral supply in a bunny ear that even if you did scew it up,&amp;nbsp;it&amp;#39;s unlikely that any&amp;nbsp;harm would be done.&lt;/p&gt;

(Was aiming for a slowly infused IV bolus of fluids rather than sc)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Placed the catheter no probs, bung on - popped off - oh i didnt place it properly - replaced twice until I finally asked vet student to hold it in place&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Attached a T connector, plus 20mls warmed saline - OMG this bunnies pulse was visible down the T connector - gradual pulsing against the 20mls fluid - never seen anything like it!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Bunny recovered VERY quickly and was attempting to eat his vet bed by the time we discharged him..&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;But OMG - never seen a patients BP &amp;#39;pop off&amp;#39; an IV bung before!&lt;/p&gt;
