&lt;p&gt;Used to use them a lot in previous practice!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I personally liked them especially when using a non re-breathing&amp;nbsp;anaesthetic&amp;nbsp;circuits.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Also good for your skinny pouches and kitties!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A good vet anaesthetist once told me a little resistance is ok. There are different sizes depending on your patient. Our human counterparts use them on tiny babies so don&amp;#39;t see why not. Just watch your Inspired CO2 (if you can), as this can be a sign of re-breathing. &amp;nbsp;If your using capnography ensure that the graph is return to zero at the end of each resp cycle&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Best not to reuse them as that moisture that is caught in the filter is from the patient&amp;#39;s lungs.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If your using a circle or any other kinda re-breathing circuit (ie one with a soda lime canister) you don&amp;#39;n need to use one as once your on low flow rates the canister does half the job for you. In fact you might send your patient the other way and make them hyperthermic!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
