Not aimed at you nurses, but to joe public who just don't get it sometimes.

Although try explaining to people how a bengalcat told you that

Talking of the wee boy, he's sat on someone's portfolio....it is a working document right? So pawprints don't matter Giving it his seal of approval!

I still miss every animal thats touched my life, from my GP's, to my Llama Bleater, to a kitten, stumpy who used to curl up in my jumper when I was cleaning his room, to Conran, my braveheart winning boy (owned by an client) to the McL crew of dogs esp Rolo who stayed with me for a weekend, to Sid C, my wee peke friend, to my old cat Rudyard. Every animal is held in my heart still. Mine or someone elses, I often find myself thinking of them.

I worry for when I lose my wee man (I know I'm having borrowed time with him) He means the world to me, I don't know how I'll feel when he's gone.

At least I know, here, I'll find people who understand, as you have.

no idea if someone else has said this, but I tell every client, every friend, this. When someone (animal or human) means the world to you, you will know you mean the world to them. They loved you, and only want you to remember the bestest times, and reflect on the best, coz in that way they will continue to live on in your heart and mind.

Must stop before I ruin someone's portfolio with blobs of tears.

I lost my special Nirvana Banana Pooch in Sept 2007, and although it does get easier with time, I sill have the odd cry

I rang the pet bereavement helpline, and they were very helpful and supportive. My family were all gutted, but the guy on the helpline REALLY understood the heartache, and the pooch shaped hole she left in my life - I would really recommend them

I am a trained pet bereavement counsellor who volunteers for them and we are willing to spk to everyone, about the loss of a very much loved and treasured friend,

Bizzy, how thoughtful of you to post that. I did use their service quite a few years ago when I lost my Dalmatian to Dilated Cardiomyopathy and I really could not recommend them enough - they were fantastic.
