Thanks! We have a new assistant and a 10 year experienced who both want to qualify, so I might have my work cut out as "mentor" If I'm allowed??

Our VNAC is actually one of our surgeries, Beech House Veterinary Surgery in Warrington, Cheshire. If you go onto RCVS website there is a section with a list of VNACs, the tel number should be on there.

Hope that was helpfull. I think my boss also contacted the BVNA and RCVS and got a little info off them xx

Sorry to hijack your thread, but we are desperate to become a TP too, but no-one is responding to our enquiries at the VNAC where our ANA's have been (they're all on holiday!). Would you mind me asking who your VNAC ar, so we can give them a try.

Thanks for your messages guys. Well i had my appraisal today and its all good! As long as we get our ATP status i can train! Im so happy, cant quite believe it hehe

Where can you find info on a practice becoming an ATP? I have looked on the RCVS site but other than the list of full TP's, I can't see any info on how a practice would go about it or what it costs etc, anyone?

Thats excellent. I hope that with the new changes on the way, many more practices see it as viable to become ATP's and so many more committed would- be nurses get the chance to train.
