If its any consolation, I was sure I had failed my anaesthesia practials in the level 3 exams and I really did torture myself over it - turns out I had passed - so I had worried all that time for nothing!

Try and enjoy your summer and worry about it if it happens xxx

Re: Help :(

Thanks everyone :) I really really hope you're all right and that I have passed, and as it's multiple choice, I am keeping my fingers crossed that luck was on my side that day! I probably sound like a real stress head don't I! I know that I shouldn't dwell on stuff...and I do have an awesome summer lined up to take my mind off of things a bit, it's just that I can't seem to help worrying (however many times I tell myself not to!) about what will happen if I do fail. My college is only very small, and so only have an intake in September. If we were still in the NVQ system and I was to fail, my only option would be to resit at some point this/next year but I wouldn't be allowed to start my second year of college until September 2011. (If that makes sense?) That means I would be starting my 'level 3' at the same time as next years 'second years', who would have started the new qualification from scratch. (I hope this makes sense? It does seem to get rather complicated). As far as I know, starting NVQ3 without having passed both papers isn't an option for my college (although whether this has changed because of the new system I'm not too sure!)

Anyway... I guess it doesn't help to speculate, as I keep getting told - I haven't faile yet! But I just like to be prepared for thiis kind of thing.

Thanks for all your responses :)

It's done now, try to relax enjoy the rest of the Summer and deal with whatever results you get when you get them, you may be pleasently surprised!

Also although I am not sure what wold happen in your case regarding the new course etc, but no doubt (IF this is necessary) that the RCVS will have some plan put in place for people in your 'possible' situation. There will be others in the same boat.

Nobody is ever confident with exams, you just can never tell, so don't dwell, what is done is done.

This has always been the case in the past, and the students in my practice are all under the impression that they will carry on with the new level 3 course in september and re takes for any failed nvq 2 papers will be in december.
