As well as that, do you have any photos of your rescue dogs Kxcolema? Would love to see them, even as much as it saddens me, knowing the plight of these animals - you guys should be so proud of yourselves for rescuing some of the animals as well as raising money for them - WELL DONE!!

Long range forcast yesterday was good weather over the weekend. And you should have a quiet drop zone and no problem getting up as it is the nationals and all experienced jumpers zipping off there.

BUMP! Only two weeks to go and we're up to just over £3000 but I'd love to make it to the target of £4500 to pay for the new cattery so if anyone's feeling generous, every pound makes a difference. Have had lots of messages of support but it's cold hard cash that really does help!

Just diy photos ie taken by a friend from the ground. Not paying for video etc as don't have the money for things like that since being single! Plus, they'd have to beep out all the sound!

They have heard it all so don't worry about the language. The planes have a closed door on most of them anyhow and as far as l know BK do as well. Jumpers nowadays are tender creatures, not like the old timers who had no doors. Heck even when l jumped we had no doors and it got blimming cold in winter. You wont see much out as you will be on the floor surrounded by others and the instructors are good at getting you laughing and relaxed. The bit getting out you will be wriggling forward and then have your head back looking up so you won't realise even then.

Honest you will love it.

Hmmm, bet I can tell I'm pretty damn high when I'm in an aeroplane with an open door! To be honest, once I've jumped, I think I'll be ok as the falling bit doesn't scare me. The vertigo is when my body thinks I'm on a firm floor but I can feel open air and am up high so it's just the bit in the plane and the actual getting out bit I'm dreading but I guess whoever I'm attached to will just jump and I'll have no say in it. Might treat them to a whole new range of choice words initially though

Just to say for those who wondered l am 100% behind Dippy. I only just found out about the jump and sent her the following from the tribute l read out at Brians funeral:

......Some of the fledglings and Brian's friends are having trouble with jumping again, what happened was an awful accident. Go jump, Brian and Emma will be Flying Free with you and remember Brian's words "Dream, Believe, Achieve" live life to the fullest; it is a precious gift to savour.

Sadly no. We tried but as PARC is not a UK registered charity and the laws are different in Cyprus, it was too complicated, time consuming and expensive to do so I just act as the UK point of contact (as you can see from the website) and then transfer all the money directly to PARC as it's cheaper that way than them having to exchange small cheques and pay a huge bank fee (which happens when they pay in cheques in sterling to a Cyprus bank account which have to then be converted to euros). I raised over £4000 last year for them so am hoping this target is also achievable.
