We think she's around 8 weeks. Would love to post pics but camera is broked

She is settling in really well - she woke me up at 6am this morning by licking my eyelids!!! And is sat next to me as I type

They're bloody awful aren't they? Only second to dental abcesses in my experience!

I'm taking ibuprofen & paracetamol & it aint touching it! Last time I had one the only thing that worked was tramadol! But meant I got signed off for a week..Grrrrr at my crap immune system & low pain theshold!

On the plus side, Pumpkin & Parsnip are doing lots of amusing playing, and grumpy Pixel has bogged off outside,,,ooooh I have a mitten squitten kitten on my lap!

Ooo i know how painful ear infections can be. I used to get them a lot throughout senior school and would sometimes be in tears with the pain. Horrid. Was such a relief when the antib's started to work their magic. It's horrible isn't it, cos you can even eat without pain. Hope it gets better soon x

Grumpy Cat Pixel has just come in for her daily '5 minute visit while I eat- oh crap the cat flap's locked' and has swiped at her!

Kitten is braver than I thought though! She keeps coming back to the growly grumpy eating Pixel!

Its gonna be like a soap opera here tonight! Ahh well - at least it will keep me entertained - I have an ear infection, and the pain is unbelievable! I can't sleep
