Hmm,

Nice that people are keeping a lookout for each other, but from what I can see, Pippa has linked to an image hosted elsewhere (i.e. in the public domain), and although you've mentioned the owner aspect of the story which doesn't appear to be covered by the newspaper, you don't name the owner and I certainly haven't been able to find out who they are from what you've posted.

Bottom line is that those urging caution are right, one needs to be careful not to breach client confidentiality in a forum. I think, because this doesn't identify the owner, it is probably OK (that's only an opinion, mind you, I might be wrong).

Bonnie is fine! she's looking for a new home at the moment and is being viewed on a daily basis by anyone who wants to come and see her! :)

I know people are looking out for me, however I wouldn't post something If I thought I would get in trouble for it. What I;ve posted is exactly the same as if I would have posted a link to the denbighshire visitor. I do appreciate you looking out for me and I know people aren't calling me thick or anything but like I said, I do know what I will and wont get in trouble for

Pippa - nobody is calling you but they are trying to look out for you . Unless you can be 100% certain who is reading posts and what they are 'reading' into them its best to play safe - and it isnt just you so please dont think you are being singled out.

For people starting out in this job sometimes what new employers read on here may be the difference between getting a work placement and not (and I am deadly serious there) a lot can depend on how you come across I know a few practices now that when they get a job application will come on here and stick the applicants name(presuming they are using their real names) in the search and check what sort of stuff is being posted and what they see here may help them to decide on suitability for the position they are offering.

I do appreciate you looking out for me however I am perfectly happy posting what I have posted here as all the information I have included is exactly what's posted on the "press articles" you can find. I have not named the owner, or the street but in the articles, the street is named! As is the dog! Therefore it;s not client confidentiality, as I have not divulged any unknown information to the public about the client or animal. All the information divulged by myself on this post is public knowledge. Unless you know the owner yourself, they cannot be identified by my post. And if you knew the owner, I'm sure you already know about this story

Just speaking as a concerned ex-PDSA/RSPCA PR rep where all case communications have to be strictly vetted first! x

Yes she is up for rehoming, I shall ask for you if they would relocate as far away and get back to you tomorrow evening. The fees for rehoming are £120 including spay/neuter and any vacs the dog may need

Excellent, my friends are very interested in her. They have a lovely male choc lab already and they do lots of exciting stuff with him, training classes, gundog training classes....all just for fun to keep him busy so she would be well looked after. I would pass them if i did home check for a Rottweiler

This makes my blood boil on both counts, the thugs and the fact that the owners didn't take her for a week. As far as I'm concerned they should be ordered by the courts to no longer have any animals, judging by the way they have treated both their dogs. Who in their right mind leaves a dog to suffer for a whole week? And if you look at her picture she doesn't have a care in the world, they are so forgiving. People who are cruel to animals shoud be strung up!

Fingers crossed she will get put into a lovely new home where she will have the attention and love every animal deserves with lots of toys. I would try to rehome her with me and Dusty but think Martin would have something to say about that! Let us know how she gets on, she is absolutely gorgeous!

Funny really but I have always said I would love to work for an RSPCA/Blue Cross hospital when I am qualified. But after watching so many of these programs, I am not sure I could handle it, I would forever be angry or in tears as I just don't get why anyone would or could hurt an animal. Well anything for that matter! I suppose you would harden to it in some ways. Although I am sure if something really upseting comes in, you would remain professional and then cry after they have left. Tricky one that!

OMG that's disgusting! If it happened to a person you wouldn't wait a week to get it treated! argh makes me so angry!

A few weeks ago, not too far from my house, a group of thugs broke into a guys back garden and hung his bull mastiff from the washing line. People like that are so twisted it angers me beyond words!

So do I - it's why I spend all my free time at the centre, just walking the dogs, playing with them and the cats and their kittens too :D I'm naming them all! There's 12 kittens and so far I've gor a ginger and white called Honey, and a black and white called Zea :) theyre not used to humans either so I'm handling them daily and today I got Zea on my lap eating out of my hand :D

OMG!! the poor doggie .. she looks so content too in the above pic! she's still beautiful.. it makes me soooo upset seeing cases like this.. infact, upset is an understatement.. I have so much feeling for them that I want to rehome them all!!
