Qualified in November 2008. Level 2: writen at Sheffield. Level 3: computer based exam in Chester (much prefered typical multi choice exam) and practicals at Harper

Also quite a newbie, qualified in oct last year, started training in 2007. Am still in practice where I qualified at the mo but am moving onto the dizzy heights of referral practice beginning of next month, cant wait!

I started nursing in 2007 and qualified in January 2010, proper newbie!!! .... although not a spring chicken as turning 30 next year!! eek!

Started nursing in 1989 . Trained at Myerscough (Hutton) Loved it. Qualified in 1994 after not wanting to train at all.Still nursing so must have liked it!!!!

I spent a year in practice in Worcester, then I had a breal and went travelling. I then returned to nursing in 2004, working in rural Worcestershire. Started my training at Pershore College on Day release in Sept 2004, took my final exams in Summer 2006.

I was very naughty and didn't hand my portfolio in until the following year! The verifyer then lost my portfolio and I spent the next year trying to track it down to register! So registered in 2008.

started in equine practice around school in hols, eves, weekends in 1994

then got a full time sa in 1996

went to north trafford college in 1997/1998

then rodbaston for 2nd year

passed 2001

sat written exams at sheffield and practicals at rodbaston - old style green book!

Qualified in Jan 1995 at Berkshire college of Agriculture and worked in Bristol. Was old green book too.

Qualified in 1976 whilst working for the Blue Cross in Victoria, London.Went to weekly evening classes -no day release then !! Exams held at RCVS in London for the 1st year and Liverpool for the second year. 34 years!!Jesus cant I retire yet?!!

Started at PDSA in 1985. Did their exams for 2 years and qualified as an Animal Treatment Assistant and then went straight in for the VN qualification. Did in house training. Passed VN in 1989. Did written exam at College in Birmingham and practicals at Liverpool Uni.

Taught at Myerscough college between 2001 and 2003, took both level 2 and 3 written exams at Sheffield Uni and practicals at Rodbaston College.
Qualified just after I got my results in 2003.
Still not sure how I managed to pass my practicals, had them at 8am and then went straight up to Widnes hospital where my brother in law was in intensive care following a bad motorbike accident. I think it took my mind off it so I wasn't as nervous as I should have been.

1993, went to Telford college in Edinburgh, written exams were there and practicals at Liverpool vet school. Looooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnng time ago!

Took me a while to start training - started in practice in 1997, completed ANA in 2005 and then started the NVQ a few months later in the January intake. Qualified in January 2008 after training at MYF in Aldershot and sat written exams in London and practicals at Sparsholt

Started my Saturday job in practice in 1986, started in practice full time in 1987, started at Myerscough in 1990 (although it was then called Lancashire College of Agriculture and Horticulture!), and qualified in 1993. Green book style

Started as a Saturday girl in 1995 at my local practice, given a permanent position in 1997 and started training at Myerscough College at the Hutton centre (now been replaced by houses!!!).......qualified in 1999!!!!! OMG 11 years ago where has the time gone!!!!!!

NVQ 2 (1999), NVQ 3 (2001) portfolio completed and VN status awarded in January 2002. Never went to college. I taught myself the theory from books. Sat written exams in London somewhere. Practicals taken at Berkshire College of Agriculture. Resat my lab practical at Wood Green.
