Can someone please give us an idea of what will be expected. The IV gave a brief idea about that she can TPR and watching her premed. Problem is she is not coming until 11am when we will

Re: Enhanced verification

The IV arrived after we'd finished most things too - I did TPR on a dog that was waking up post castration instead. It can be anything from the unit 3 of the portfolio, so general nursing stuff (or first aid if some poor animal is unlucky enough to time an accident with your IV visit!)

Re: Enhanced verification

thanks guys.
One of my old students needed to have this done and all that was required was TPR a cat, explain normal parameters, ensure cat was secure/restrained correctly. Do you give pre op antibiotics and if so could that wait until the IV arrives if the premed is already given?

There wasn't a great deal more to be done than a standard assessment really and was over with quickly too!
