I was gonna do a chart BUT not keen cos its drug dosages. Maybe you could grab an anaesthesia book and discuss the doses wit one of the vets at work??? the prob is most drugs have a dose rang and differ from book to book

Re: Crash chart

Hello peeps, could I please have a copy of what ever is going too?

Agree with Nick re preservative free drugs, also some become unstable in plastic (syringe) which is why they are supplied in glass bottles, and some in light, hence the brown bottles.
1st draw: ET Tubes / larygascope / tracyostomy kit and tubes / IV caths

you can either have drugs pre drawn up either for IV use or diluted for use down ET Tube.

I personally think this is a waste, esp if you are in a slightly quieter practice.

Where I used to work we had a piece of foam with cut out bits in with so many vials of each drug. Think it was enough for 50kgs. This was then restocked if the crash box was used trying to find a picture.
