Sorry just to add, I own a car so a commute is possible. I also live in Colchester so Suffolk is on the border. So anyone knows of anything Suffolk/Essex border then let me know. Ta!

Well it's nice to know I aren't the only one out there going into it when I aren't fresh out of nappies. It's not too much bother as I have a part time job just full time would be a god send because I will pick things up so much quicker. I always knew I wanted to do this just had to do something else first. Can't wait to start training though, just worried about getting my vet nursing placement. Apparently they are much harder to come across. I will be 31 when I qualify aaahhh!

I'm 27 and just about to take my final exams but I know nurses that have qualified a lot later in life. Its never too late! Really wish I hadn't gone to uni and got £12000 worth of student loan debt though!

Can't help with any vacancies I'm afraid but I really identify with your last comment....I''m 25 and waiting to start my training this year hopefully so will be 28/29 by the time I qualify and I sooo wish I'd realised what I wanted to do with my life much sooner!

We'll get there tho...best of luck finding a place :) Keep plugging away and you'll find one x
