A few years back we stayed in a lovely litle B&B in Church Street, Wooler, Northumberland. They let us have both dogs there and we were a short walk from the hills and a short drive from Seahouses (where my 'special' Gordon ate about 4 jellyfish).

the cottage was gorgeous, the location fantastic, and the people so friendly. me, my partner and my dog had a wonderful time plenty of beaches and countryside to explore, and lots of dog friendly pubs and restaurants to choose from. i highly recommend!

This is a coincidence!!

We have just LITRALLY booked our week away and wanted somewhere thats dog friendly. . We were looking at snowdonia.. so booked into a nice dog friendly caravan park in Rhyl, and snowdonia is only about 25min drive away so many lush beaches there too..

As for cornwall.. I''ve been many times but never took our dog.. but found this thats looks nice :) http://www.raintreehouse.co.uk/

Hey,

I have just being to the Lakes and stayed in Keswick, We stayed in a place called Larrys Lodge, It was amazing the people are lovely and have their own dogs so understand dogs get dirty! I have a Lab X and loves to swim, the owners of the B&B had old towels at the ready on our return.

The name of the B&B came around as the Owners take in guide dogs and one of the dogs who came to retire with them had to have his spleen removed and his name was larry (who went to live on another 3months)! The two dogs they have now are lovely and very friendly with other dogs.

I would love some help with dog friendly beaches in this country - I have only been a dog owner since last November so am unsure as to where she would be welcome on a beach. I live in Surrey - any ideas on the coast down this way?

We actually stayed in the beech hill last year and it was fantastic for dogs! We had a room with a veranda type thing so was fantastic for sitting out at night and the dogs had a little freedom too! Also there is a hotel up my way in a place Called Invarary called the George and this place is fantastic. All dogs welcome apart form obv the restaurant area but can have meals in the bar. Throws etc provided and bowls and poop bags throughout.
