&lt;p&gt;The books of pellinor by Alison Croggan&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;George RR Martin&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Anne Rice&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Terry Pratchett&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And lots more that I can&amp;#39;t remember! &lt;/p&gt;
