 Put my hand down on top of cooker to see if it was hot, so i could put my scales down to weigh out my chips (im on w.watchers!), and the ring was red hot! &lt;p&gt;Keep it in cold water a bowl or bucket the nerves have been exposed and the cold water will help.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I did burnt my finger tips on a pizza over that was running at 240c and had to keep them in cold water for hours.&lt;/p&gt;
