Not sure what sex yet so we have gone with Kale. 
 Kale is 2 years old. The lighter is for perspective and in about 8 years Kale will be big enough to meet Spike my 56 year old spur thigh.

&lt;p&gt;Spike had a chip about 6 months ago when he was in for repair for his shell damage caused by a dog attack.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to Kale&amp;#39;s licence when his plastron reaches 10cm I will have to take him for chipping.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Spikes is in his leg where do you place yours when chipping tortoise&amp;#39;s?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I really into tortoises and cats not a good combination but they all seem to get on well and are never left alone together unattended.&lt;/p&gt;
