A nurse I used to work with had a wisdom tooth exactly like yours and had to have it out. She said it wasn't that bad. Hope you feel better soon!

You will get it sorted don't worry. I was on Ibuprofen and paracetamol alternate 4 hours plus metronidazole which also made me feel really squiffy

I thought about going to A&E at one point too it got that bad.

I hate the dentist, I've had to start using a dentist near work and I don't like the place, the dental nurse was as much use as a chocolate teapot, the dentist was nice but the surgery just wasn't great. Bit of a rough area but I just can't into any others

My inner ear is bloody painful as a result too

I had wisdom tooth pain last year, it's awful!!! My deepest sympathy I know what you are going through.

I had a sore throat for 6 months due to chronic infection and was constantly going back for more antib's. I got pericoronitis one time and my face swelled so much I couldn't open my mouth

I went along to have it pulled under local and because there had been chronic infection there for so long it had eaten away at my sinus and so the local seeped through the holes in my bone and made my eye droop!!!! It was horrific!!! I couldn't see for hours and basically looked like this....

hahahaha well I felt like it anyway!! A few days later after having the tooth out I felt AMAZING!!

Was up all night in agony. on Metronidazole as they're (obviously) impacted and infected. Metronidazole now making me ill, vomiting this morning and now horrificly nauseous. Gonna go home (I'm at work now) and rest I feel awful

Had tablets changed to Augmentin and feeling better now. Couldn't keep anything down yesterday I felt rotten.

I'm in absoloute agony, I can barely move my jaw, can't close it either. It's got no better since starting my antibiotics, actually it's worse

I can't lie on the side of my face with the pain or tilt my head back to sleep as the pressure from the pocket of infection gets worse. I can't eat much other than slop and soup as that hurts too much.

and I'm terrified about having the teeth out, I'm not normally scared but this is terrifying me as I'll need a GA

Tried paracetmol, co-codamol, ibuprofen which don't touch it. Tried Solpadol (codeine phosphate) takes the edge of it but no where near clears it but I hallucinate when I take it and get really drowsy so I have to take it before bed but I need to pick Neil up.

I could cry I'm in so much pain, can't in touch with the dentist and they're shut until Monday now

Sorry for the moan, I'm feeling very sorry for myself as I feel awful and Neil's at a lad's night in until I pick him up. Just need a cuddle and for this pain to go away.

Luckily l like my dentist except have 4 fillings and a possible root canal or extract coming up. I am going for extraction as whole tooth is twisted 90deg and very tight easier out less pressure on the others l think.

Not yet but pain is starting to clear up. I've been doing some exercises and the pain is starting to get slightly better

i still have all my wisdom teeth, they've grown out pretty fine and touch wood not had any major probs as yet....

I had to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth out at once at 20. the top ones had grown horizontally and were slicing my cheek open and my bottom ones didn't have room to come through
