Well I finsihed counting the third surgery yesterday......today I have been at a computer all day putting all the info in!!!!!! I now have cross eyes and brain frazzle!!!!! Tomorrow just got odd bits to finish off and its all done!!!!! Not a choc cake, take away or alcohol consumed during the process of stock taking!!!!!!! Think I may just make up for that tomorrow night when I get home!!!!!!

We finally finished counting last night at gone 8pm! Celebrated with a take away YUM!!

Now just the computer work...... for some reason the boss seems to have singled me out as 'stock control nurse', so guess what I'll be doing for 8 hours tomorrow

I hate stock take, im the only one who is always here to do it, people are usually at college etc This year one person is at college and i think the other nurse is on holiday :( I hate it soo bad

done ours today but our practice manager now inputs the data rather than the head nurse at the branches.

choc cake def sounds like a good idea for next time... and isn't it funny staff always book their hols about now?

Well I have survived two days of counting!!! Sadly tho just me doing all three surgeries over this week and no choc cake or lady gaga tunes in sight!!!!! Head was spinning today as I made a start inputting the info onto the computer......at our small branch tomorrow for last day of counting.....then 2 days of computer work!!!!! I feel many drinks coming my way on Friday night!!!!

we do ours every 6 months. we do it over 2-3 days and everyone pitches in. the main day will be wednesday and we won't be booking any routine procedures for that day. i'm also baking a chocolate fudge cake to take in on wednesday

I would actually prefer to do the stock taking compared to the week ahead of me!! got in to 9 inpatients just for medicine, sent 1 home but by the end of today had 4 or 5 in return

finished late today have to start early tomorrow and will prob finish late as well

I feel your pain!

Our boss has just informed me that he wan't a full stock take incl consumables, done by the end of Weds!! We have one nurse on holiday, and I'm at college tomorrow - aghhh!
