as this case happened a whole 3 years ago I would be interested to find out if it was ever resolved?

wow! gotta say i can understand why the clients are annoyed about this!

the pooch should have at least been given pain relief and first aid, ie stabilisation of the limb, before being transferred - imho anyway. it's not as if the clients were saying they wouldn't pay... and anyway, dont we have a duty of care for pain relief and first aid?

In the clients defence, pain relief should of been offered and given,... I know I definitely wouldn't have access to £200 straight away.. then again, my animals are insured so I won't (touch wood) have that problem! Grrrrr people NEED to insure their pets.. then they wont have a situation like this!!!! I can understand vets point of view too..
