Since she had mentioned she was trying to contact her doctor... Sorry to scare you but far better to have reassurance than to cause more harm by having the area manipulated if there is something serious going on. Fingers and everything else crossed that I am being alarmist but have a lot of diagnostic radiographer buddies who tell horror stories about theme park incidents! xx &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I agree again, as much of a pain that it is going to A+E, it is always better to be safe than sorry! A massage is great but I would not get one until you know theres no serious damage!&lt;/p&gt;

Also best to find one that uses acupuncture along with their treatment. &lt;p&gt;Lots of sympathy for you! I too hurt &amp;nbsp;my neck on holiday, but nothing like how sore your&amp;#39;s sounds! &amp;nbsp;If it&amp;#39;s muscular, then a massage should be safe enough I would imagine. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
