I know its not the real thing, but its gonna be under exam conditions anyways, and hopefully we will be able to mark them at the time to get the results

Re: Mock Theory Exams
I'm going to get some of these:

http://www.kalmsstress.com/kalms-tablets.html
The other SVN at my practice tried these - she had to stop taking them as they worked too well! She didn't get any drowsiness, but became so completely unbothered about exam she wasn't doing any preparation!!

Re: Mock Theory Exams

it did then... i was only 9. and the reason they told me to do it was cos they noticed i was breathing to fast cos i was in pain.

When i have these little 'attacks', breathing through them dont seem to help much currently.

Re: Mock Theory Exams

and do you find it helps

Re: Mock Theory Exams

when i panic or think to much about it, my heart skips beats and its the most wierdest and annoying feeling when it happens.

I do find i have a mild arrythmia anyways even at rest (Dr is not to fussed bout it) but is worse when im thinking bout something i dont like...

Sal, i was told a similar thing actually when i was in hospital after havin appendix out and i was told to visualise that and do that.

Re: Mock Theory Exams

deep breaths!

when we are stressed we tend to breathe faster and high up in the chest, when we are relaxed we tend to breathe a lot lower and slower into our abdomens.

try putting your hand against your tummy and with each breath pretend you are trying to push your hand away with your tummy

Re: Mock Theory Exams

I'm going to get some of these:
