I was also told that you are representing your practice, which is a good point! - so wear your uniform and make sure it's clean!

In my letter from the RCVS it says we should come in our normal trainee nurses uniform with hair tied back etc

I recall taking my own lab jacket for the practicals as I already knew that the ones at myerscough fitted me like a straightjacket - nobody seems to make allowances for us ladies with large balconies, unless it really was a straightjacket and the rumours that I am a bit 'touched' are actually true and I just havnt realised yet

I have no recollection of that was thinking you meant written. Don't know what l did for practical forgot about that.

I was going to say that we were told we should do!!!

Can remember going for mine at myerscough and me and mum went into preston straight after so I was getting changed in the car!!!!

From the exam application form guidance notes

You must wear a uniform or protective clothing for the practical examination. For health and safety reasons, you should not wear jewellery and long hair must be tied back. Laboratory coats should be worn for laboratory tasks. These will be provided at each examination centre but you may bring your own if you wish.

I never wore my uniforms for exams. Some people did unless times have changed. Just went dressed comfy, loose clothes.
