mine are a bit slow this year but there do seem to be a lot of them so hopefully ill get a fair few. my mum couldnt wait so bought some... at least i think they were stawberries they were red and looked like them, couldnt taste a thing though

They are the most deliciousest yummy nom that ever was made of red stuff.

Prefer mine with loads of thick cream and sugar. Yes, yes I am over a size 16.

I picked my first strawberry today it was yummy! First summer in our first house and we have tonnes of plants, both sides of family are mad gardeners so couldnt escape but i love it :)

Grow my own on the allotment. This year I put some nettles in with water, left it for a couple of days then used this to water them, stunk to high heaven but worked a treat!

dont forget to pot up your runners too and grow more strawberry plants!!

I don't like bought strawberrys only those we used to grow or PYO. Once they end up in a shop l never find tasty ones.

I have spent the whole afternoon nibbling on strawberries, just looked down and realised i'd eaten the whole punnet! Think i might start to look like a strawberry soon!

Picked our first batch of the year from our plants...... sooooooooo much better flavour than shop bought. Alpine strawberries even better!

Just waiting for the grapes and blackcurrants now

The best strawberries come from plants whose fruit was not picked the first year they grew. I'm on year 5 plants & the fruit is getting bigger & bigger each year!!! Feed well with either tomato or berry feed and they'll be amazing!! But try to resist picking them this year (you can eat them if they fall off - just don't pick - no idea why!!)

I had strawberry plants last year, as had my mum and we were all really looking forward to eating them..........that was until those beautiful goats of mine broke out one day.............

Aw I love strawberry picking!!Love making my own jam with them!! I save jars up all year for it! In saying that, not made jam for a few years now! Think I may need to find out where i can pick strawberries. . .
