good luvk i am thinking of going back to work next year as a locum after 6 yrs out so that will be interesting.

been there done that after 10 yrs out of practice went back to work just Saturdays in October and now i have done a few locum jobs too. It does come back to you and if yr not sure just ask, no one minds, better safe than sorry. I always get someone to ok any drug dosage i'm giving.

You'll feel like you've never been away in no time

People will be understanding, I think you will be amazed at how much you still know. You'll be just fine.

Good advice. What about going on either a course or maybe one of the revision courses for the exams??? that should refresh you memory I'm sure

Have a little notebook or a-z book in your pocket and write down all the important stuff like calculations, normal heart rates etc and you can update it with details of flea/ worm protocols etc as you learn them again.
Don't worry and be honest with them if you are feeling nervous or out of your depth, Im sure it will all come back really quickly once you get into the swing of things.
