well after one very hectic crazy week i think we are all ready for the bury show on sunday, its taken a lot of hard work trying to plan organise and carry everything out in under 3 weeks but its all done now, can finnally relax and just look forward to the show in 2, days (well 1 day if i ever go to bed) .

everyone at work has been fantastic and after some initially confusion on what we were doing they have all pulled together and worked thier a****s of to help me and make sure that the day is fantastic, so thank you to you all.

The local bussiness and reps have been great giving us some really cool raffle prizes including a £60 M&S hamper kodak camera etc, soo far we have 20 prizes ( its gonna be a long raffle )

all thats left to say is come down to burrs park in bury this sunday and join in the fun and support VN week (a month early i know)

P.s we have lots of cool pens

If you ask him outright for it you should be able to get it - ask him if they have any Milbemax mugs left over as well as they had loads of them at one point!

Hmm all he offered me was some worm patrol leaflets think i might have to give rep a ring, though to be fair i still thought the nurse was joking about the suit when i spoke to him.

she wants a dog suit with a wicker basket and some sweets, she was very specific

£20 seems quite reasonable, could use it again at practice open days and things.

i like this one tho a bit pricey but quoite good for vet practice its basically a sick dog costume lol

COntact your novartis rep, they have a van dressed as adog (sounds strange but has nose and ears) and also 2 dog costumes. When our rep came round she said that if we ever needed a dog costume then they would be happy to let us borrow it. (it is part of their worm patrol promo).

When I tend to do shows to get people on the stall I usually offer a free sample of dog/cat/rabbit food. Supreme supply 1kg bags of small furry food free of charge as do the royal canin reps. This is the food we promote at work so we just handed them out which worked realy realy well.

If you have a pet dog that is used to going somewher like this take them.. we usually have the bosses dog how brings in the people.

Remember to take lots of stuff branded with your clinic, business cards, leaflet etc and hand them out with everything.

Tombolas go down a treat too, we have a selection of pet products, with vouchers for health checks, £5 off vacc etc and a variety of non vet items such as wine etc. 5 tickets for 50p and winning tickets end in 0 or 5 and they choose their prize less stressful to prepare.
