;)
Elvira: Quite possibly!! they sound very similar dont they! she sufferes with oesteoparosis as it is, so that would seem more likely to me.. maybe I did get it wrong and thought the doctor said disparosis, didn't even know what it was though, and I still wrote it down once he said it!! agghh my mind is like goop these last few days, wouldn't suprise me! But i really really hope it's not that parasite thing!

She's home now and feels much better, so thtas the main thing!

Steph: yeah your right about her living conditions, my mum has offered to have her move in with her, but we'll need to talk to her ocupationol therapist about having a stair lift, disabled shower etc built in.. so fingers crossed

Thanks all for your well wishes.. it means alot xx

hi there, your poor nan hope she is doing ok, i think disparosis is a sort of parasite that invades the intestines, has she had to give a stool sampl?? a friend of mine had a similar thing, try looking on nhs website see if they can help.
aka /Amebiasis

is very rare in this country or in any country with well established society. it's usually found in third world countries or horrible sanitation situations. I think your nan probably has something else and you have misheard what i was. Can you not ask or have a peek at her chart? I'm sorry to hear she's not very well hopefully they can be a little more upfront with you guys about what's going on since you're family.
