well i went with other football hating mates and had a great time.

i do think this would be a good time to be single esp if you like football, u can go find your perfect football loving bloke.

i also do not like big brother so really not a good time ahead!!

I have the complete opposite problem to most women at the moment! I LOVE footie and am really excited about the world cup, but my other half HATES it! So i'm usually fighting to have the footie on and he's complaining and trying to turn the TV off! We have come to an agreement that i'm allowed to watch the england matches in peace, but i'm limited to how many of the other matches i'm allowed to watch!

I'm with Steph on this one!

Just me and my 2 kids at home. There was nothing only football on tv lastnight so I got lots of cleaning and tidying up done!!

I quite enjoy the world cup. My bf is a HUGE united fan so I normally have to put up with watching that so at least with the world cup I can actually support someone. Going to miss the final though as on holiday. We agreed that England probably wouldn't make it that far and if they did I'm sure we'll be able to find a tv in the dominican republic somewhere with it on

aw glad you don't support a big team, its the smaller teams who make football fun! I support Partick Thistle, we had a great start to the season then messed it all up!! So despite us been rotten, i cannot wait till this season starts! Pre season games only a month away yay!!

I don't mind it, hubby is quite a passionate united supporter, have been up to manchester with him a few times.

yay someone else who likes footie!! who do you support (in general not world cup)?

It's a great month, a reason to go to the pub and sit in a beer garden and have a pint.... yes i am classy lol!!

Alas, I have lost my hubby to it too this evening.....it's been on since I got home nearly 3 hours ago & his mate is round too, didn't even go when we had dinner.

It's our wedding anniversary this weekend too....

I agree Steph - this is probably a bonus of being single! Though once I've done the work I needed to do, seeing as there's nothign left on TV, I've taken up knitting haha!

I enjoy the football, however i hate the fact that it's only the second game yet excuses for not doing things have started!!

Just be happy its once every 4 years for world cup and 2 years to the next euros!!

Take up a new hobby or spend more time doing the things you like doing but don't normally have the time!

This whole football thing drives me mad too, just messes up everything!!

If you've got no choice but to watch the football maybe try making things more interesting and bet between you lol
