 Whats the most unusual pet/animal youve had the &amp;#39;joy&amp;#39; of handling - not just at work but just in general?? 
 Ive cuddles a skunk she was the sweetest thing ever shed been rescued from some AWFUL person!!

She was allowed to ride back to the hospital on our laps, on account of her very small cuteness - not something I usually do with the 90kg ones...&lt;/p&gt;

I did zoo keeper for the day at Canberra zoo, so Lions, Tigers, a Liger, otters, monkeys, sharks...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Did Sx on a 8kg Lace Monitor, think Komodo Dragon,(tail amputation). Have had kangaroos, wallabies, wombats (burnt in bush fires last year, saved), echidnas, koalas (one was just being xrayed here at the uni), owls, eagles...lots of parrots...&lt;/p&gt;

She has her own huge enclosure now and is protected by the Loation government. Tourists that go to visit her are &amp;#39;encouraged&amp;#39; to bring steak for her dinner! &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I was a bit dubious about going as I was imagining her in a small enclosure but she has a small forest to herself. I got to give her my steak!&lt;/p&gt;

She descented some young ones one evening in the practice and OMG took us about 3 weeks to get rid of the smell!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also helped with a racoon, Aldabran tortoise (approx 100kg plus) also done a GA on an ostricht! that was interesting gassing it down holding the mask ABOVE my head!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
