I know why they are doing it and I don't disagree with it, but I have to admit it did make me sad seeing it so alive and knowing they would be killing it for the program. The shark caught in the net and dissected made me feel the same. I preferred last series where there was a reason they had all died other than man!

Re: Inside Nature's Giants

PS, Im looking forward to next weeks one with a lion and a tiger.... Fascinating stuff...

I got a little excited at college yesterday just disecting a piglet... ( i had never got a chance to do dissection on my NDAM at college). It was fascinating, i got the heart out and could see the chambers and everything and felt the hyaline cartilage of the trachea. And all these piglet died on natural causes or stillborn... unfortunatly mine had taken a breath as the lung tissue floated in water, lol...Anyways, ive rambled on, haha.

Re: Inside Nature's Giants

[quote user="*Steph *"]

.. I hope not!

I think it might have been, but im not sure if it linked in to the thing they were saying about hunting, and if u saw one and caught one, u were legally allowed to shoot it and kill it... I might be wrong though.

Re: Inside Nature's Giants

I've sky plused it so will watch it at some point.

Re: Inside Nature's Giants

It was Brilliant tonight!

Just watched it! Fascinating!

Also rather scary how an alien species has made such an impact on the Florida everglades in a few years... I think they said it was thought the burmese python escaped from captivity during a storm in 2006? And in just 4 years they are breeding, increasing in numbers and having an effect on indiginious wildlife!

I'm feeling a google session in the near future to confirm or deny that!

Re: Inside Nature's Giants

*BUMP*
