choosing hymns he mumbled one and closely followed by Amazing Grace.

I said "Amazing Grace.. wait.. that other hymn repeat
it"?

He gave the name again Prayer of St Francis and said "l think it
fits better with Brian".

I stared at him and burst into tears again saying "Yes, yes l want that
one".

When we went to the spiritualist church open circle that was always the opening
hymn. Prayer of St Francis is a lovely song and there was so much hilarity with
the regulars we would often have would be big discussions about what new hymn
or song there was some interesting suggestions to use that night, one would be
chosen and .. you guessed it we would end up dumping it at the last minute for
the old favourite.

We always had such a good time at the spiritualist church a
lot of laughter and learning.

Brian knows me and music l famously did not know who John Lennon was when he
died, so for me it was a sign that he was giving me a hand. So we are having
Amazing Graze and Prayer of St Francis

(shrink to listen)
Make Me A Channel Of Your Peace

1. Make me a channel of your peace:
Where there is hatred, let me bring you love
Where there is injury, your healing power,
And where there's doubt, true faith in you.

2. Make me a channel of your peace:
Where there's despair in life let me bring hope
Where there is darkness, - only light,
And where there's sadness, ever joy.

3. O Spirit, grant that I may never seek
So much to be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love with all my soul

4. Make me a channel of your peace.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
In giving to all that we receive,
And in dying that we're born to eternal life.

Re: Brian Laithwaite

Some more Photos
