Exactly - shes not really a mainstream 'Act' as far as I can see - I know her music has been at No 1 etc, but the coverage I have seen of her, as an act, would make me wary about letting a kid see her live!

A bit like if marylin manson got to no 1 I guess - just coz theres no swearing etc in the edited release single which storms the charts, doesn't mean the live show, or in fact the artist in general, is appropriate for all

Personally don't think kids should be allowed to attend even the support act was a bit risqué.

I would of thought it would come with Parental Guidance, much like CDs and Films etc.....

Have to agree with you there Nick re the over reaction. Its a stage show, and as I understand it, she has been playing that scene at all her gigs?

In complete honesty, I can understand people being sensitive if they knew any of the victims, or family or friends of the victims, are from the area etc - what happened in Cumbria was a godawful tradegy, and I can't even begin to understand what the people left behind must be feeling / thinking!

All that said though, I notice its a Daily Mail article.....

I have to say that this was actually part of the show she didn't randomly do it. The show was more like a musical rather than someone just stood on the stage singing songs.

Now I'm really do feel for the people, friends and family of the people who lost their lives and were injured in Cumbria, but think this is a bit of an over reaction......

Lady GaGa slammed for gory stage show

Lady GaGa has sparked an outrage after pretending to be murdered on stage in Manchester just hours after a horrific shooting spree took place in Cumbria.

Thousand of concert-goers including parents and children witnessed the singer attacked and brutally murdered by a man in black, before falling to the floor with fake blood spurting down her chest.

The shocking scene was mimicked on stage at the MEN Arena in Manchester a few days after the brutal murder of three prostitutes in Bradford by Crossbow Cannibal Stephen Griffiths. And just a few hours before taxi driver Derrick Bird killed 12 and wounded 11 people before taking his own life.

An upset mum, who was at the concert with her 14-year-old daughter, told the Daily Mail: ''I was absolutely sickened at what I saw. We know Lady Gaga is not exactly mainstream performance for all the family but she really crossed the line this time.''

''The scene may have been part of her show but it could have been toned down give the violent events of Bradford and Cumbria. It was extremely tasteless to see her pretend to be attacked in such a gory way - especially in front of young children. ''

''Several of us were aghast when Lady Gaga appeared to be covered in blood. There were lot of the kids there who were sickened too. Many had their hands over their mouths in shock.''

Lynn Costello of Mothers Against Violence added: ''I wouldn't let any child of mine go to see Lady Gaga - I think she's tasteless anyway and this scene appears to back what I believe.''

''We're always saying, people who are icons to young people need to be aware of their behavior and they need to think about how their behavior influences young people. Would she have sold less tickets without that scene in her show?''

''They're role models, they need to take responsibility. It's tasteless.''

This is not Lady Gaga’s first gory stage show. She shocked the audience at the MTV Video Music Awards last year when she stumbled on stage with blood dripping from her rib cage.

Less than I expected, but you gotta dress up for this kinda show. Was mint! Got a few Funny looks walking round my village (mostly Claire and her mate) and ppl honking their car horns lol
