Yeh its rubbish that RC dont do the packs anymore as we find clients prefer them.....dont tend to use the vouchers

I don't particularly like Hill's either but much prefer their kitten packs to ProPlan.

We're now Royal Canin and don't do kitten packs at all. just vouchers

www.printing.com or www.vistaprint.com are great for magnets and the like,

That's who we use for our merchandise.

In our client packs we include

A leaflet about us, inc opening hours, details of OOH etc.
Business card
Magnet
Cat toy
Leaflets on flea, worming, microchipping and insurance
Food sample

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

We had this for our kitten packs and had TWO clients take it up, despite me either explaining everything to the client, showing them the bag of food they would get for free, registering it online at the practice so all they had to do was bring the voucher.

I MUCH prefer the Hill's kitten paks that actually have the food as it seems to be too much hassle for clients to bring the voucher etc. which suprised me

We have:

A client survery - asking how they found out about us, how they rate there first impression of us, would they recommend us etc etc...

A terms and conditions - payment as time of treatment etc etc

Info about RCVS (we are accredited tier 3 hospital

Info about us (our completely outdated practice leaflet)

A business card - which I would like to change to a magnetic one... hehe

We do seperate puppy and kitten packs, which we are waiting on coming from ProPlan, which offer clients a free 3kg bag of food when they register online...

Heyy magnets are a really good idea!!

We do kitten & puppy packs too - give them out on their 1st vaccination, they are all packed with info, food, toys & vouchers.

Stuart, what is in your 'client packs'? do you give them out to every new client? I think thats fab!!

We do puppy and kitten packs dose that count?

In these we put all kinds of informative leaflets, a bag of hills food, a measuring cup, a practice magnet and a food bowl place mat.
