I've had a search on the tinterweb but can't seem to find anything suitable. I want to shrink the graph and stick in in a little book. Thanks, it just saves me writing it out all by hand

Re: Blood values

Kerry you want me to e-mail you some cat results from our VetTest? won't be til Tuesday but I don't mind

Re: Blood values

[quote user="Stuart McQueen RVN MBVNA"]

sorry that sounds stupid - of course they will differ from animal to animal... i mean what could be deemed as high value might to normal for that animal... etc etc

I went to an idexx talk at BVNA congress last year and the speaker said that as they get older its good practice to keep a record of the animals normal ranges...

hope thats a bit clearer...?

Re: Blood values

[quote user="Steph Worsley RVN MBVNA"]

values and ranges do differ from machine to machine from lab to lab so best use the ones that are relevant to your machine

I agree, When I was writing up K&U for my portfolio I found a huge difference between the values in the BSAVA nursing text book and the values that related to our biochem machine.

Re: Blood values

values and ranges do differ from machine to machine from lab to lab so best use the ones that are relevant to your machine

Re: Blood values

Thanks Kerry, I think I was having trouble with the size, It's a tiny little pocket sized book which I keep in my uniform pocket and I'm also working with Microsoft works which isn't the best at shrinking text down. I found that site but due to the size issue I can't get it small enought to fit in the book and still readable.

Re: Blood values

http://www.bichonfriseusa.com/caninebloodwork.htm
