I'm lazy and park right next to college in Co Op car park, but then work pay the £5 for me Just never go in the lift on your own, that's what we've decided!

Well the 1st day went really well! I'm excited to learn! Made a couple of friends too. Ended up sat in the back row on the window side, as most people had turned up super early...so maybe when the summer comes I'll have to fork out the sunglasses. Didn't find it too hot/cold yesterday, just managed with a hoodie

Oh and went for the lifts in the end..dodgy or what Not a fan of £4.50 all day parking either! Guna have to find this Parsons Barracks place...?

And Maria is lovely, though notorious for her "I'm never drinking again" line.

Jojo, does Maria sit on the right hand side of the room on the second to back row?

Another thing to bear in mind if sitting near the windows is that you will on occasion get blinded by the sun if it decides to show it's face!

For lunch i recommend a sandwich shop across the road from college ...but the name escapes me right now...they do nice jacket potatoes!

I go to the Weds lesson too and know Maria! Used to sit behind her but got moved You will have to give us all the gossip on her!

As Vicky said, wear layers. When you are choosing your seat - bear in mind that the radiators are on the left hand side of the room (but so are the windows so its warmer, but has a draught!).

Oh and check out Jenny's cafe for lunch

Hehe that's the good thing about the stairs lol! Hmm i think i know who Maria is, to be honest i say hello to people as i pass but don't know most people by name, i'm rubbish with names I only tend to talk to the people sat in my row, and have lunch with them as well. Does she have blond hair? The person i'm thinking of (i think) has blond hair, and is bubbly from what i've seen!

Thanks for the tips...5 floors? 3 floors at school was enough for me! Hopefully I may start working off all those christmas chocolates!

Hi,

I go to MYF on weds, am in my first year. My advice:

Use the stairs rather than the lifts, got stuck in one of the lifts with 3 other students a few weeks ago! Was very funny, but now the four of us use the stairs most of the time (it's on 5th floor so you'll be knackered by the time you get to the top if you're anything like me!)
Wear layers...it's either hot or cold, so if you wear layers you'll be more comfortable

I was very nervous on my first day, but there was no need to be! Julie and Belinda are lovely and are fantastic at teaching, you will learn a lot from them. Have fun and good luck with meeting people!
