Needing some advice!
I've juist started doing some nurses clinics recently, and so far, so good.
I just wondered if anyone had any tips/advice on what else to do/not to do.
Of course I know where the boundaries are, but as we all

Re: Nursing Clinics

Thanks for the article Claire :-)

I do think that socializing kittens will be a bit of a nightmare! I know what you mean with their bloody viruses!

To be perfectly honest too, I very very rarely have someone bring in a new kitten - pups are the way forward apparently!! there are soooo many abandonded cats here that taking on grown ups seems to be the way they do it...

I have a clinic this p.m. on dentals - lets see how it goes!

Contacted the food companies and got loads of food samples, health check sheets and info leaflets and made up little bags for the owners.

Completed health checks including dental checks, discussed socialisation, vaccination, neutering, diet - all the basics really. I found that rabbit owners were really appreciative of this clinic and made me realise how little some owners actually do know about rabbit care. Read somewhere that rabbits are the third most popular pet in the UK but the most 'neglected' so I think it's really important to offer as much info as possible.
