&lt;p&gt;Vet Techs in the US have to study at an accredited school and then pass the national boards in order to work as a vet tech. &amp;nbsp;Then, depending on what state you work in, there is also a state licensing exam, which is much easier than the national board, basically just rules and regulations that may differ by state.&lt;/p&gt;
