had a call from a friend regarding a rescue dog that her friend collected yesterday. Bottom line it seems as if he has had very little training (labxretriever) he jumps on everything and even when she went in the shower he was digging at the bath

Re: batty rescue dog

My rescue was billy bonkers when I had her at a year old. She was obviously very stressed so I kept everything very calm for her. I made sure she didn't have too many things to think about all in one go. Zylkene and Dap helped a lot as well as not letting anyone wind her up too much. Lots of training and positive rewards helped. Eighteen months on and she's now fab- just the occasional mad moment

Re: batty rescue dog

thanks for the replies, she bought the collar. Dog is completely hyper and 'rescue' centre offer no behavioural back up. Owner is having a one to one with behaviourist this week.
