have had these through and they are the ONLY c cpd l have been notified of since september last year when l wnet on the one l stated. This is nationwide and gives an idea of sparsity and how much travel if you do not live near.

I did not know about subs till the letter for them turned up they tend to keep quiet recon they know they will loose people. As you have paid your money you may as well sit it and then let it laspe if you want.

hi, am doing the c-sqp and supposed to be sitting the exam in July! ready all your interesting posts (which I wish I had seen earlier) do you think I shoulg go ahead or just forget about? seems such a hasstle to keep up and didnt realise you had to pay a yearly subscription! thanks.

I did the equine one after the companion animal as was an equine nurse at the time. Not bad but same issues with CPD, mostly farm animal or miles away!!

Horse like companion very few drugs mainly wormers. (think all the sqp are the same very few drugs) The cpd is not tricky just boaring as hell l am a C and had to sit through a morning of equine and an afternoon of flears/weight talks the afternoon aimed at pet shop people. If l left early l would not get 20points and so would be screwed on my points.

Agree on hard to get to the cpd they said doing more but they aint so far. The one l got to september last year was the only one for the nw l have seen in months before or after. I wouldn't waste money doing it again but as l have it l keep it going. And if you do your exam close to when the renewals are due they get you there you do NOT get a year like they say.

Im not sure about the E-SQP but ive just signed up for the small animal SQP. I wish I hadnt as it only allows you to be able to dispense flea and worm treatment. It will never allow you to dispense without a vet or veterinary only products. There has been other posts about this subject before. Which you can look up. I would look into it abit more before you sign up. Wish I had. You need to keep up with CPD, but only Amtra CPD which is, from what Ive read before can be very hard to get too and tricky to do.
