We used to treat a homeless mans dog and the local church used to fund its treatment as they used to do a lot to help the homeless.

Yes it does - not just benefits - I've found them to be great healp & they give dog neutering vouchers out worth £50 - the only charity now doing this!!

The Dogs Trust run the Hope Project for homeless peoples' pets. The pet needs to be registered with them and they'll send you a microchip to register the dog to the owner and to the Dogs Trust.

They might offer help with payment as a one off before registering them, worth a go?

Dogs Trust run a scheme specifically designed to help homeless people and their dogs. Contact their head office for details.

you could try rspca/pdsa or any of the local rescue type places
