mine is on my left tunic pocket (waist level) and it is on there all the time no matter where I am in the hospital as I am in and out of xray a lot during the day.

I have my work phone in that pocket and have never had any problems with a high reading, our RPA doesnt have a problem with that either.

When I have to be in the xray room (ie when inflating chests or doing fluoroscopy) I have a wrist badge to monitor the levels outside the lead gown.

Wow, thats news to me... I wear mine on my tunic pocket.

Also in the branch I am at at the moment, I am the only person who actually wears one... All of the other's badges are clipped to a board on the wall just outside of the xray room, and they 'monitor' on behalf of the person whose name is on the badge from there...

I have just realised how ineffective and weird that is!

Thats very informative. I wear mine clipped to my pocket at waist level, so it seems I am ok., although it is the right pocket, but shall change it to the left.

Mine's been through the wash a few times! and occasionally i forget its in my pocket and put my phone in the same pocket!
