Unfortuanely the child survived!!! The owner was a bit of a dipstick, as 'council estate' tenant who managed to accidently electrocute his 2nd snake, (Boa constrictor!!!). Of course he never paid all of his bills of and we got R.S.P.C.A involved though!

We have a vet who has interest in exotics so we are lucky to see quite a few. It was a sparrow hawk and was n o longer stunned by the time it got to us......being the professionals we were (as it was only me and a small female vet on at the time) we shut ourselves in a consult room to make sure there was no obvious damage......there wasnt he ended up trying to hold us hostage in the consult room till i managed to get the box over the top of him while he was on the floor and then we scooted him along the floor into a walk in kennel and called our falconer vet!!!!!
