&lt;p&gt;The SBT I am referring to has been on steroids for 3 weeks now, he is on tramadol also and the owner ran out of tramadol and missed the morning dose, she said that he was very sore due to missing that one dose.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It had suffered a number of bite wounds and the swelling had affected the nerve to the point the cat had no movement in that leg at all, it just flopped in the breeze - was pretty terrifying! X-rays showed no problems, antibiotics and time and the cat was back to normal! &lt;p&gt;From what I can remember (it was about 6 years ago and I&amp;#39;d only just started my training), he just seemed to get better over time. He had severe head injuries aswell so I presume he must have been on some sort of pain relief and antibiotics but I don&amp;#39;t know what else. She was only teeny tiny (around 8-12 weeks) and it resolved pretty much on its own after a month or two. &lt;/p&gt;
