Well if they are breed specific and you gave a guinnea pig a canine pheremone wont it be freaking out thinking theres dogs around!?

Just googled it! Nothing out in UK yet, but I like the sound of it! It's called Lapezil. There is also a pig appeasing pheromone as well (PAP), and one for chickens!!!!!

There's quite a few cheap imitations of DAP and Feliway available from Pet shops now days, maybe someone has "invented" one that supposedly works for pigs?
(Probably the same weirdo that markets flea treatments for *** pigs..!)

It's already out in Europe apparently, it looks like a little dome, like those air freshners you can get. Sits on the floor in their environment.

I remember filling out a survey at BVNA Congress years ago asking about stress in rabbits in practice, and when I asked if it was because they were making a rabbit diffuser they said yes but it was a while off down the pipeline, so I was even more miffed when I found out they'd already launched it abroad but not here!

never heard of that but it sounds unlikely was under the impression from all the info supplied from ceva that it was a canine specific pherrmone just in the same way a feliway is a cat phermone so i'm a pass sorry

Ummm.......not heard anything like that before!!! My guineas are laid back enough as it is...if Jacks DAP affected them they'd never move!

Haven't heard clients mention it but wonder if its coming from any of the rescues originally? Or if someone is using it for their dog and thinks that by chance their piggy is super chilled too!
