I rehomed a BC to a fab lady via dogrescue pages, I had a couple of good enquiries after just a couple of hours.

making him a Face book page helps to get him known by a wider area.

Have you contacted BC rescue?

Re: Border collie needing a new home

My only concern would be your 4 year old son.........i'm pretty sure this dog has never been around children but saying that with the right owner i don't see why he couldn't be introduced to children. I have a feeling that with the right owner (who actually does something with him...not leave him locked up in the house day after day) this dog could be really good

Re: Border collie needing a new home

Hi

I am looking to rehome a BC once I qualify (autumn), but could accomodate the 'right' pooch sooner!

Our house is fairly hectic, a 4 year old son, 2 dog savvy cats, and a pooch who just loves everyone!

I am in Derbyshire, and am a collie savvy owner.

I strongly believe the pooch chooses their 'person' esp with BC!
