a good idea if you work for a busier clinic,bad idea if you are working for a quieter clinic - I can see this backfiring in a spectacular way, I know its only fair that staff working harder get recompensed for the extra work but it really isnt going to encourage staff to work in quieter clinics and some of these already have a poor staff retention

I do the odd shift for Vets Now Belfast and they pay £10/hour, don't know how much it varies from place to place though

For locum its £10hr and for a night shift its £120 I think!
