I do not use the main library as parking is awful and they do not have good books.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;S-J mentioned Terry Goodkind earlier - the Sword of thruth series, I discovered this recently and am now hooked, currently on book 4, with a long way to go. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you like that type of book then Trudi Canavan - Black Magician Trilogy is really good, as is The Seer King by Chris Bunch.&lt;/p&gt;

Its a series of short stories and essays on among other things the break up of Yugoslavia. They are on WW2 a german unit. Very raw. It shows the horror of war there is no sweetness or love in them but a very good set of books. Shows the war from the germas side the unit are all given a choice fight or prison/die. So they take their chances. There is the sick humour amongst death and destruction. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
