They now are

Re: Vet nurse rota!!

thanks for your thoughts!! x

Re: Vet nurse rota!!
why the hell are cons going till 10pm???????????? surely 8pm is the latest it really needs to be

Just what I was thinking!!

We only have 4 nurses at my practice too & this rota works well, as if anyone has holidays/ or sick, we can easily adjust to cover..

one nurse does 8 - 7pm mon til thurs (fridays off)

one nurse does 3 - 7 mon (tues off) wed, thurs, and fri does 8 - 7

one nurse does 8 - 7 mon & fri & 8 - 3 tues and thurs (wed off)

I do : 9 - 2.30 mon, wed, & fri, split shift tuesday and 4 - 7 on thursdays, so thurs is kind of a day off for me.

We all do 1/4 weekends

Re: Vet nurse rota!!
appts are til 10pm!
Especially if working a long day they can be quite useful to have a few hours off during the day to go shopping, revise or just spend some time at home.

Does each shift have separate duties or does everyone just muck in as needed?
