ahh thanks for streightening that out or me.. knew I heard something about it being void if no consent was given..

I would record openly. You have to tell whoever from the first something is being recorded yes or it is void. I would also be obliged to give them a copy if asked to.They may well record it themselves if so l will ask them for a copy and not bother. I would be using my phone which isn't great.

am I right in thinking the person you record, has to give consent to be recorded or it's classed as void if ever it went to court?? dont know why or where i've heard this.. correct me if I'm wrong.. I probably am!! lol xx

If you are insistent on taking no one with you, then definitely record it. You know how people can twist things etc

Thanks Paula and Steph and Lolita don't worry about moral support. I have the high moral ground Probably best l go on my own simply because hub will try and shin me to be polite and my mum is defiantly not coming. As to friends do not want to drag anyone into the meeting would prefer to deal with them on my own.

I can scan out how the enemy are sitting chose where l want to sit to cause maximum discomfort to their little floor plan of solidarity. Simple things like l won't be sitting where they suggest but move the chair to where l want, even a few inches out can mess them up. I can adjust my body language to screw them more and If someone is with me then that makes it harder as l need to cross reference my moves and comments.Looking the speaker straight in the eyes and not blinking is a great one l have used in the past as well.

I may record it but haven't decided yet.

Awww Caro!! I think your being really brave .. I agree with Paula, it would help you heaps to have someone with you.. might give you more confidence confronting them, or can even a sholder to cry on when emotions run high.. you never know..

Caro,

I am glad you are having the meeting with them, however, I would worry about you going on your own......if hub wont go with you, take someone else - even if only for moral support. You shouldnt attend these things on your own.
