I wore green and white stripes as a trainee and REALLY looked forward to getting my green tunic. I am pleased to say that now I have qualified I do wear greens and I LOVE it!

I wore blue for the first time today and it felt really weird! Is a nice blue though! Will def be trying to get discounted pizza!

It was totally impractical but there was no talking to this practice manager! I stayed for 7 years which was 7 years too long. Luckilly no one else is subjected to this anymore as the couple who owned the practice (practice manager and vet) retired and sold the practice and needless to say the new practice have the greens!

white is totally impractical!!!

As for the greens - I cannot wait to get mine! QVN's do wear them at work (hooray!), but if I worked somewhere they didn't I would probably just wear them round the house, I've been waiting that long to get them!!!! lol!

OMG i'm so shocked at white...i'd be the same as Caro, would get filthy!!! I'd be a case of, if you want me to stay clean, i can't do any cleaning! And keep me away from the animals...i could do reception though!

WHITE hell just as well l do not work anyplace like that. I seem to end up looking a tip with no effort. For some obscure reason l end up doing filthy jobs like cleaning porches and roofs and scrubbing floors and scubbing driveways full of moss (things seem a good idea when it is slow animal wise)

When I was in my training practice everyone( student, non qualifed and qualified) had to wear white dresses!!!! Totally impracticle and we were repremanded by the practice manager if we got them dirty. I was so happy when I moved practices and got to wear the greens instead.

I have green top and black trousers. Getting trousers is a nightmare and l need to try them on and you can only get green trousers sending away so easier to wear black but l wouldn't be without my green top

I had to wear green and white stripe trainees uniform at one place - I was the only qual there and the other 'nurses' didnt want to be left out, even tho I was HN and had been qual over 10 years. Its really up to the boss what they want you to wear

I have never been able to wear greens! I would love to. I have to wear hospital blue and navy trousers as the vet doesn't like green.
