you can't go 'down' our road and see my house :(

we've only just made it onto google maps as it's a fairly new house. so when the van came round my way our road wouldn't have been on the map even though it was built. you would've thought they'd have used their brains and gone down the road anyway?

well at least you can't see my dead holly tree in the pot at my front door!

have looked at my house in all its glory - I can actually narrow down to the day when piccies were taken. The big trees down the side of the house were cut down over 2 days and on the piccie only half of them have gone!

I'm not really upset by it but I had never come accross it before and it was more a shock of how clear all the images are, especially compared to Google Earth...... also would of liked to know when they did it... can't quite work it out...

I went on CPD today and drove into Cambrigde..... this morning beore I left, I Google Street'd my journey into Cambridge (don't have a sat nav) and it was brilliant... knew what to look for on all the turnings etc.... didn't get lost once!!

It's still quite intrusive tho!

It doesn't bother me. I should look at it when i'm going somewhere i don't know, will make finding it easier. In fact, would be good when booking a holiday to see what the place is like!

noone one is home at my house, lol... and i cant see if im at work cos staff carpark is round the back and they didnt do the private road where i can access my carpark... but judging by the roadworks outside our practice, im sure it was sometime in july 2008. hmm i may be wrong. cant remember wen we have roadworks outside.lol. maybe july 2009 lol. It was a dull day haha

I just looked at my work car park...i'm not in but can see ambulance, a vets car, 2 nurses cars and receptionists cars! It was done last summer going by the cars.

I reckon they did round our way last summer. It looks pretty sunny and the trees are in full bloom, and also no one in my family (most of us live a street away from each other) is at home judging by the cars!

my friend drove past the google camera van when it was doing hastings and they've spliced together 2 pics of the same street at different times to remove simon!

OMG that is weird! There is nobody in at our house cos the cars aren't there...my sister lives across the road and she is in but not her hubby...and they had visitors, there is a car outside their house, and a person with a child getting into it!!!

It is thought the pictures removed contained revealing images of homes, a man entering a London sex shop, people being arrested and a man being sick.

Google street view. Was just city centres now they have coverage everywhere!
